Footnote: What defines an active patient?
A patient is considered active in a billing month only if they had a scheduled appointment in your calendar or logged into the patient portal. Inactive charts, archived files, or patients without appointments and portal logins in that month are 100% free of charge.

How is an "active patient*" defined?
A patient is considered active and billed in a calendar month if they:
- had at least one scheduled appointment in your clinic calendar, or
- logged into the patient portal (e.g. for exercise plans, telemetry, or messaging).
If a patient had neither an appointment nor a portal check-in during that month (e.g. paused therapy, completed recovery, or archived file), they cost you exactly 0 €.
What happens when my practice takes 3 or 4 weeks off?
You pay nothing. When no patients are seen in a calendar month (e.g. maternity leave, personal holiday, or clinical training), your invoice equals exactly 0.00 €. Your patient records, schedules, and clinical templates remain safely stored and immediately available.
Are there hidden charges for SMS, calendar sync, or upgrades?
No. All core capabilities – from automated online bookings to iCal calendar feeds and the patient companion portal – are fully included in the 3 € per active patient fee. We do not charge setup fees or hidden upgrade fees.
Is there a minimum contract duration?
No. We believe software should win by delighting therapists, not through restrictive lock-in contracts. You can pause or cancel your movent workspace at the end of any calendar month.
